Checking in on Columbia Street greenway
I live just a few blocks from a short, completed section of the planned Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway along Columbia Street. The path runs from Atlantic Avenue to Degraw Street, near the northern tip of Red Hook.
Soon, the path will go all the way south to Bay Ridge. For now it ends here:
There’s also a strange guy who lives (or at least hangs out) near the southern end of the path and has a bunch of junk all strung up against the fence. He feeds the pigeons and a huge family of stray cats that wander around the area.
And some cool art painted boards protecting a construction site on Degraw Street.
Check it out sometime!
