Looks like a section of the Brooklyn Bridge Park bike path might be opening soon!
Took this photo on my way home from work today. The path will obviously begin where the new temporary bike lane on Furman Street ends (photo below).
NY Post literally JUST put up a brief story about this saying it will stretch up to Pier 1 near Old Fulton Street. The story said it should open in the next week! Fun stuff!

This is a mockup of a proposed greenway that would encircle Jamaica Bay, and the National Park Service would help create. I don’t think this map is actually available online anywhere yet…
